Here are a few comments from having VU involved in their departments…

As the Director of Education at the Tokyo School of Music, I had been looking for a system to allow the students to do voice training on a daily basis. I had found that our enrolling vocal students had varying degrees of keyboard skills and the ones with little keyboard experience were having a really difficult time playing the proper scales and arpeggios to accompany themselves for their daily vocal exercises. CDs won’t really work because each student has a different problem and range. VocalizeU has been a godsend, it allows us as teachers to prescribe a custom workout for each student. It also allows us to check each student’s individual progress and choose new workouts to match their progress. As an educator or even an individual wanting to improve their singing skills, I give VocalizeU my highest recommendation. Chris Juergensen Director of Education Tokyo School of Music

As a university lecturer, I have found VocalizeU to be a fantastic tool to aid in the teaching of contemporary vocals. Each of our vocal students has the desktop version which enables us as faculty members to set specific workouts that can be undertaken away from the classroom. The Power Practice facility is particularly useful as it allows us to set practice targets but also allows us to set targets that the students can record and export to us straight from the software. Other great features include the ear training program and the ever expanding ‘bookshelf’ of books and articles written by vocal specialists. I would recommend VocalizeU to anybody who wants to take their singing voice seriously. Ian Davidson Vocal Department Head LIPA – Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts

We at the South Plains College Commercial Music Program began working with Dave Stroud and many of his associates in 2002 as part of our teacher training, and have remained affiliated with him these many years. Now we’ve incorporated VocalizeU as our main instruction/practice curriculum for our students, and it has been wildly successful! The program provides excellent voice practice along with other great resources imbedded in the system. We’ve been able to monitor student progress effectively, and have seen marked improvement in students who are diligent in their use of the program. I recommend VocalizeU to any individual or vocal program looking to modernize and improve vocal performance! Jay Lemon Assistant Professor of Music South Plains College Levelland, Texas Head of Commercial Music Vocal Studies
