VU is located at the beautiful Mt. St. Mary’s College, Chalon Campus in Los Angeles, CA. VocalizeU takes over the entire campus for this event, from the full theatre, dorms, to the delicious dining halls.

Our chefs recognize and accommodate food allergies, preferences, and special dietary needs in a way that’s personalized, sensitive and supportive.

Commuter tickets do not stay on campus, but all meals are included.

Standard tickets provide shared accommodations and shared bathrooms, with all meals.

Gold Star tickets are private rooms and bathroom, with all meals.

All artists are housed according to gender and age.

Mt. St. Mary’s College Campus has 24/7 security on site. We work with them closely throughout the entire event.

Minors have an entirely separate housing than adults and are separately by gender, with chaperones living on every floor and every entryway.

Minors have staff dedicated to them specifically for lights out times, room sweeps, morning call times, class checks, etc.

Our youngest attendees are 12 years old. However, if your child is extremely talented and focused, you can reach out for an assessment for us to make an exception.

Adults 18+ are allowed to leave campus at anytime. Minors are only allowed to leave with the designated parent or guardian on their waivers.

However, with the way our daily schedule is designed, there is esentially no time to leave campus. Between classes, meals, writing sessions, and sleep, you’ll be too focused during the intense 10 days.

It is reccomended for attendees to continue their stay in LA for a few days after the program at a hotel or air bnb to benefit from the contacts they gained during VU, and enjoy beautiful Los Angeles.

At orientation you will receive a full overview of all the classes and teachers, to help you decide which you want to take.

After orientation we offer auditions for audition-only classes.

You will start all your classes on the following day. The first day is check in, orientation, lunch, auditions and the Opening Night Show!
