Being immersed in the music world at a very young age, it shouldn’t be surprising that Elliott O’Connor ended up with a career in the music industry. The son of creative parents, Elliott’s father was a great music photographer who worked for magazines such as Rolling Stone and Cream. Elliott’s mother designed elaborate stage costumes for the biggest Rock n’ Roll acts of the 70’s and 80’s. Elliott always knew he loved music and was going to be involved in it, but it wasn’t until he attended VocalizeU, formally called SLS, in 2008 that it all started to make sense for him. The realization of being involved in an artist’s journey became his passion. That passion led him to become a booking agent for artists. Working on getting artists on the road and touring allowed him to expand and eventually Elliott started consulting for major labels, which evolved into artist management. “Having managed multiple artists of every genre of music. I have really developed and found a love in the DIY and independent approach” Elliott stated. Currently, Elliott manages Bones, who is one of the top independent rappers in the world. Elliott also oversees his own imprint, SESH RECORDS.
